The second day of the ninth Women's World Floorball Championships held in the Czech Republic brought many interesting floorball moments. And not only on the court! For instance the Norwegians went to the Zoo, Canada scored their first goal at this WFC, and Latvians suffered a debacle. And none of these situations remained unnoticed on social networks. Let's have a look at the overview from the second day.

Last year a mutual game ended in a Latvian victory. But this year the card turned around and Norway climbed up to the third place in group B after winning 7:0. The Latvian failure was caused mainly by inaccurate passing and wrong positional play. So, the Norwegians made up for their yesterday's loss against the Czech Republic.

At the beginning of the game the Canadians surprised their opponents and scored their very first goal at this WFC. Karley Ronnenberg was the lucky scorer. But then the Danes started to draw from their better floorball skills and floorball advancement. They tied the score quickly and then turned it around.

No, it wasn't supposed to be revenge. It was still “just” a regular group B game. Except for the fact that the game featured two teams that fought for bronze medals at the previous World Championships in Switzerland. And it was the Swiss players who then lost the game in front of the home fans and ended in tears. And despite there is still a lot of time left until the bronze medal game, this match most probably decided about the group B winner, who will have an easier opponent for the semifinals. And after two goals by Silvana Nötzli this privilege will most probably go to the Swiss team.

In the second today's game in group C the spectators saw a surprisingly tough and interesting floorball. The Australians were in charge of the game mainly due to their fiercer attitude and bigger fighting spirit, but the Koreans managed to score their historically first goal at the World Championships. The final score was 9:1.
